If you have any questions about this policy or your information, contact us by phone on 07896 492006 or by email at russelltrow@gmail.com.
2. The information we collect
We only collect the information we need to respond to you and carry out your cleaning job:
- Contact details such as your name, phone number, email address and town or postcode, when you fill in our quote form, call, text, email or message us.
- Job details such as the rooms, carpets, upholstery, rugs or mattresses you would like cleaned, any stains or problems, and your address when we visit.
- Photos you choose to send us of the items to be cleaned.
- Payment records such as the amount paid and date. We do not store card details.
- Technical information such as your IP address and browser type, which is processed automatically by our website host and the services described in section 6.
3. How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote.
- To arrange, carry out and follow up on your cleaning appointment.
- To keep basic records for accounting, tax and insurance purposes.
- To deal with any questions, complaints or aftercare advice.
- To keep our website running securely.
We will never sell your information, and we will not send you marketing messages unless you have asked us to.
4. Our lawful basis
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) we rely on:
- Contract – to quote for and carry out work you have asked for.
- Legal obligation – to keep financial records required by HMRC.
- Legitimate interests – to run our business, reply to enquiries and keep our website secure, in ways you would reasonably expect.
- Consent – where you have agreed to something specific, such as us using a photo of your job. You can withdraw consent at any time.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not go ahead are deleted within 12 months. Customer and job records are kept for up to 6 years to meet accounting and tax requirements, then securely deleted.
6. Who we share it with
We only share your information with trusted services that help us run the business and website:
- Hostinger – hosts this website and processes the quote form.

- Our accountant, and HMRC where required by law.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.

Our website links to Facebook, Google and YouTube. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.
9. Keeping your information safe
We take sensible steps to protect your information, including a secure (HTTPS) website, password-protected devices and accounts, and only keeping what we need.
